Volvo F88 Pictures!

Really good motors but were spoiled when the 290 was intoduced, they forgot to fit brakes to them and they had a habit of blowing batteries up, didnt like them one little bit after the 88’s

The F10 looks like Syms of Calne parked next to Fransens F88. But who were Ambrose?

Is that little Roy who drove the DAF 95 Road Train for a few years? I seem to remember he did mainly embassy work.

Hi all came across this thread of 88’s and couldn’t leave without putting a pic of my own 88 NBH518M pic taken approx 1980 with a Sea Route trailer, I knew what it’s like to feel King of the road!!
