Very lucky hgv driver on facebook video

That [zb] should be traced and done for dangerous driving.
Good drivers give vehicles in hard shoulder a wide berth.
If I see a tyre change or breakdown assistance, …and if safe, I pull into lane 2, as a lot more do.

As a night driver this is standard practise for me. Surprising how many cars I see on hard shoulder with no hazards on though :unamused:

Sorry for the spanner in the works, but why on earth was he down that side anyway ?

+1 and then some. There was no need for him to inspect the damage. Just ring up and let the relevant people know what’s happened, let them deal with it.

This week’s idiots include a van driver changing a tyre by himself (nearside at least) in the inside lane of the 4 lane section over J11 of the M1, no hard shoulder. Got his hazards on but no emergency vehicles or traffic wobbles in attendance.

And another clown changing a tyre on the hard shoulder about 200 yards before Warwick services. Just drive on and do it in safety FFS :unamused:

One of the reasons I would never be a tyre fitter.

.
Lets hope this video also gets disseminated across the tyre fitter industry to highlight and discourage the brave and foolish % that carry on regardless .
.
Not the 1st and probably not the last tyre fitter i`ve seen in history, chancing their hopes working off-side in limited work-space areas. :open_mouth:
(yes i know this was the driver) just saying like .
.
.This video has gone pretty much viral across various industries to current, very quickly. Reckon we have the original Op to thank for that.
A lucky boy , very lucky indeed.
There by the grace…
