In a hurry today
Bloody hell Mark, that’s what you call moving! Fair play to you. How long do you keep that up for? I presume the tyres cope ok too?
Great pics btw.
I don’t do that very often, I only did it then to get that picture, usually I back off at 80ish The tyres cope ok and I have new Michelins all round so no worries there
Blimey,I only managed 148.8 out of my old Volvo VN southbound out of Calgary on Hway 2,didn’t feel like taking pics cos the satelite was having a hissy fit
Spotted this the other day a top looking motor me thinks
Oh and one of mine
Not bad Mr Moyles, but can you imagine living in that compared to your Pete ? Have you seen the Allied car transporters up here and what they have to live in ? No wonder they get good coin.

Sad and geeky doesn’t even begin to describe it, I had a running commentary whilst the saviour of radio 1 was looking at a cabover Pete website last night
Can you imagine the state of him if he had to squeeze into a cab-over everyday
OMFG what pictures only if I was young again first class Mark keep em rolling I remember you now Mark you used to have the nice streamliner in MJD livery I used to have a blue and silver globetratter for mr Ken in the MCC livery retired now spent last 20 years with him then retired glad you made it out there lots of the old boys from Kens went out there but all came back great to see someone stick it well done mate so whts your weekly mileage roughly and how long are you away I ve seen them trains like that before he used to have a Maersk calender in the ofice with 2 high boxes on wonder how the freightliner would cope with that all the best mate Bill
Hello Bill, I used to park in Freightliner Barking when Mr Ken was there too, so we all used to bump into each other there and down the docks.
My weekly mileage varies, but I try to max out my days, I usually knock out 700 miles a day, easy enough as there’s not a lot of traffic and no speed limiters my trips are usually no more than a week, but sometimes I’ll turn around and head back south again if I’m out west when I unload, it all depends really, you know how it is in transport mate
Are you enjoying retirement, I doubt it’s much different from being on the containers
Great pics Mark. Quite a bit different to the M6 on a Friday afternoon.
