It belongs to Kevin Dixon, a local Truck breaker, it’s a brand new replacement cab on it then he got Aliweld to make a new body for it

Here’s tonight’s offering from the Tyne-Tees run. regards prattman.

more of the same.

Great pics - thanks for sharing them.

I will never understand why some people spend a fortune on a fab restoration to then put on one of those daft phoney ballast boxes ?
They look ■■■■ imho!

here’s some more photo’s of Wards Foden taken last Sunday and also some taken many years ago before it was restored to its present state, these were taken after Paul Wheatley purchased the lorry he got it from Wolsingham and took it to Glendinning yard were he was working at the time he managed to get to engine working but then put it to one side hoping eventually to fully restore it but as time wore on never got the chance and eventually sold it to John Gornall who restored it to its present state, again the older photo’s are courtesy of Craig Porter. regards prattman.

They have made a good job of restoring that Foden, she was lucky to survive considering the type of work she was on,ta,Pete ps.cracking pics Prattman thanks for posting them

Here’s some more from last Sundays Tyne-Tees run. regards prattman.

Here’s some of the model trucks that were on display in the Tyneside and Durham truck model club’s marquee, these ones have been built by Andrew Bell, these are 1/24 scale. regards prattman.

These models are by Alan Tallentire the first three photo’s are 1/8 remote control models the rest are 1/24 scale

A couple more models the first ones are by Bill Wooldridge and are 1/50 scale most have been converted by Bill, the truck transporter which is 1/24 scale was built by Bob Armstrong (R.I.P) who sadly passed away two and half years ago, when Bob joined the club 18 years ago he was nearly 70 years young and even at this age he was building car transporters the bodywork being totally scratchbuilt, all his models with the exception of one transporter which his son kept have been passed over to the club and will be displayed at various shows for the foreseeable future. regards prattman.

Here’s some more from the tyne-tees run. regards prattman.
