And yes can confirm that at my time with Heritage in Dover…and even to this day all drivers are covered
by Transmed …this after a case in the early days when we had a driver hurt himself in Italy and found out
the costs of bringing him home again.
They are a very good company and very reasonable with their charges for memebership.
Regards, Neville.
A couple of years ago when Uncle Tony broke his hip in Morocco Transmed paid for me to get to Heathrow airport from my home in Suffolk, they paid the flight to Tangier direct, not a cheap one where you have to get two flights.
Transmed paid my wage to drive the lorry back to the Uk & deliver the load.
I took the lorry back to Swindon & they paid for me to get back to Suffolk.
I visited him in hospital in Tangier where the treatment he got was A1.
Transmed flew Tony back to the UK accompanied by a nurse & got him to Swindon hospital where he stayed for a while, when he felt ready to go back to work i went with him on his first trip back to make sure that he was ok.
The only thing that i can say about Transmed is do not leave these shores without it.

Tony Bradfield is a true legend, Duracell= keeps going on and on, not sure if he will still remember TC with a Daf 310 with a yellow roof and white cab on for BI and an Ex Peter Gilder 142 Eteppe roof LHD.
