Looking at this issue for a while and having taking a gander at euro trailers what don’t strap pallets, bit like these ones http://www.poferrymasters.com/about-us/our-fleet/fleet-specification (the Euroliners ones)
As looking at most foreign trucks they have similar
does the wooden planks mean you don’t have to strap pallets as there is another load restraining device other then the curtain?
Taken for a ride maybe but, I used to do four to five drop and lifts a day. Now I do two to three and lots of overtime. Job just got slower and more expensive. Luckily my job isn’t time critical. Current typing this whilst some lads tip the load who have no idea what to do. If one of them doesn’t lose a finger I’ll be surprised. Health and safety is a pain but, it is what it is.

Knotted straps do my head in. Why can’t people just adjust the straps? By the time you’ve faffed about tying them up you could’ve attached the strap and started doing up the curtain.+1
lucky now I only use boxes with 3 bars1 bar for me and that’s if I can find any .
I heard they is hard to find at your place but the poles are easier

The Poles don’t need poles.
