Tour trucks photos?

Good to see that tour-drivers fashion hasn’t changed much.

Also from Mike Lennon are these of EST, probably being driven by his brother.

Anyone remember Transam running Iveco’s?

I wish i had my camera when i went to see U2 in Cardiff 2009. Whilst in the queue at the taxi rank at 3am’ish all the Dutch trucks were coming in to take the set away. The noise was unreal as plenty of them had straight through pipes and rattling the windows . Also saw loads of the Trans Am boys heading back from Cardiff as we were on our way up on the saturday morning.

Regards Daz

A few more for you Matt…

Here’s some more for you from Mike.

Briefly coming up-to-date, i’m on a nice job on the Isle of Capri at the moment.

Here’s how the islanders are getting the equipment from the harbour (we did a 200metre drive from the ‘ferry’ to the only parking area), up to the venue, about 1.5km away.

great photos gb1, i bet thats a tough job out there.

i do like capri.
not exactly truck friendly though :grimacing:

We’ve had to get special permission from the Mayor to fetch them on to the island. There really is nowhere to go with them other than to the
car park next to the harbour. At present, we have 8 artics there, with a 7.5t due to arrive on Monday and another artic on Wednesday.
All the heavy equipment goes on the back of an Iveco Daily dropside truck, then gets transferred to the little electric trucks (as seen carrying the
risers) at the top of the mountain, as the road there is too narrow for the Daily.
Hope to post some more photos during the week.

did a day trip there 2 years back, whilst on holiday in sorrento. both lovely places, but would imagine anything bigger than a large van would struggle in capri, i don’t envy your lot.
the forum in milan is tight enough for me

who’s playing out there?

A couple more from Mike Lennon…not one of his better days!

Mike had tried to get over a mountain (I think in Switzerland) and had got snowed-in. In an attempt to turn round,
the trailer got stuck, so Mike dropped it to go and seek help. He was eventually pulled out, and made it to the gig -
late but intact.

transam probably still have that stepframe lol

Some good pics GB1 keep them coming

Some more for you from Mike Lennon…
