An 8 wheeler using 250/270 litres diesel a day,what are they double shifted or 800 horse 500 litres will usually do me 4 days.
Most of my work has involved me hauling for Whitemountain,Northstone,McQuillans and Tarmac. I’m currently up at W/M’s Temple quarry hauling blacktop to the last phase of the new Loughbrickland dual carriageway,I will be sad to see this contract finished as it has been really good for me over this past two years.
I take it you are in charge of a tip somewhere Just for interest what are the rates for a muckaway 8 wheeler,I take it you are on by the hour/load/day
The guy with 15 tippers on muckaway must be AFB contracts or AG Gilchrist
I aint in charge of anything, in fact Ido very little, but yeah its AFB, Donnelly, Gilchrists and D&S do the pulling into the drumlough tip. Fee does a little as does Megoran but you know the score and probably Jack Gibson.
