the roads are bigger and the junctions are , mostly, much better.

Where?

Everywhere. The roundabouts and junctions in the Uk are just simply badly designed.

Yet again im after more help  , can anyone offer some advice on driving left hook lorries?

Many thanks. Simon.

So is this guy Mr Saaamon just looking for a reason to write something or is it the longest interview starting with a spoof and ending with him getting some kick out of him thinking he can drive in Europe,

Way to go boy whatever floats your boat.

Had my interview last sunday and have a trial day with them very soon… I’m not disclosing on an open forum when this is happening as I don’t know who is looking, the reason I didn’t do it the day after the interview is because the head manager wants to meet me and they want me to come in on there busiest day, so I know exactly what to expect… Shame you’ve got nothing better in your sad little life to do than to come on here and have the cheek to acuse me of lying.

My sincere apologies if I got it wrong, it just sounded like a wind up.
Best of luck with new job, please keep us up to date.

I feel I must stick up for British roundabouts here! European ones are a disaster generally. Too small, camber all over the shop and drivers that struggle to use them

Can’t really add to much to what’s already been said, it’ll feel a bit strange at first and you’ll spend a lot of time checking your position and on smaller roads in the UK you’ll think your actually driving in the hedge. But driving one everyday you’ll soon get the hang of it. To be honest my biggest problem was reversing a left hand drive truck, I kept lining it up as I would with a RHD  and it always felt strange looking out of the left
