If anyones on supermarket drops Tesco @ Rugby (I think) is a Bugger !

Drive in, spin her around (If you can, otherwise you reverse in) and its a blind side jackknife onto the bay, cages everywhere and if you dont get it between the two yellow banana’s on first swing you have to pull out again otherwise you rip these bannana’s out of the ground.

I went there just after passing my test (C+E) , it was my second drop on my first day of the artics’s

I Will get some photos next time im there

Some good ones there, it seems the showmen have a difficult job, but anyone who loaded paper out of Inverurie for Ferrymasters will know what a pig that could be, open your curtains, reverse between two loading banks with inches each side and no mirrors.

Another pig was Michelin tyres in Poitiers, same system but reversing onto loose wooden blocks too.

day b4 yesterday up in the brecon beacons !

Where’s the pic of the loading bay for HP at Brum? :astonished: Anyone that’s been there will never forget that in a hurry.

Also that flat pack furniture/kitchen unit? place up Halifax is another nightmare place. Use to collect from there when on for Bedford’s but can’t remember the name of it.

British Gypsum at East Leake was always a real PITA, unless you was fortunate enough to get one of the bays at the rear of the building

this one in Birmingham was a lot tighter than it looked with the cars across the street

spanky
with a normal spacecab there would be loads of room :grimacing:

ive been there (in a left ■■■■■■) a right royal pain in the arse, its a lot tighter than it looks in the photo as well.

Carl, in that picture, it is 2 x 20 foot containers on the trailer, the front one facing forwards to tip off the front of the trailer, and the rear one the normal way

let’s just say, i did have a bit of fun getting in there :imp:

Rather you than me mate! i wouldnt know where to start with those bloody trailers!

the trailer is a standard 20/40 sliding skelly trailer, it just happened that i had 2 x 20 foot boxes, same company, different delivery adresses, i took the decision to have the front box loaded with the doors forwards and see if i could get it tipped off the front, rather than having to go into a rail head/container yard to get them swapped over to tip the second job off the rear

and how many people did you stop going along the street parked like that lol

dunno Gogzy, didn’t count the ones that turned round or reversed back, there was just enough room for an average sized car to squeeze through the gap between the front of the truck and the blue vauxhall that was illegally parked, there were clear ‘no parking’ signs on the wall opposite the doorway where i was

I bet there Wont be any where tighter than spankys pockets

That wouldn’t be Gower would it? Used to be a CNC machinist for them.
