WHO? ME?

There is no way you ever were as 'andsome as this young geezer ROF.

Now Dennis, who taught you to jack up the wheel to get the grease through the king pin easier.

I guess it was self taught common sense Trev,I wasn’t a fitter by trade but I knew enough about steady driving and regular maintainence to realise it kept the repair bills at bay, especially when I had to foot the bill  .It was bloody hard going on the Trader doing 6 a day from Penningtons Quarry in Kendal up the M6 John Laings between junctions 37 and 38 to build the haul roads :frowning: .Cheers Dennis.

Hi , Mr BEWICK Good photo of the Trader at first glance seeing her being jacked up with no wheels chocked ,and fully loaded thought not a good move Mr Bewick , then put my specks on and could see it was the top of the wall, ha ha ,so much for dementia ,Cheers Barry

That shot was in Mint St. at the back of my parents house which faced onto Shap Rd. Behind the motor was the car garage belonging to the house which I used as my first workshop, tool box, grease, engine oil etc.Happy days Baz,not a care in the world.Cheers Mr Bewick.

It had to be done Vic,no way could I park up on Sat and come back monday morning and kick off for another hard week  The wee motor needed some TLC and it repaid me with it’s reliability while i did that job  Cheers Dennis.

The grease would take a bit of pushing through with that gun eh.Vic

Was that the only tipper you ran during your time in transport Dennis.
John

Maybe never as 'andsome, matey, but I never posed for such photographs.
I noticed the jack, oily rag and grease gun but then I noticed something much more incriminating- CLEAN HANDS!
Now tell us who really did your maintenance
