I’m not hoaxing anyone, I can’t speak for the police. I don’t know what leads they might have, but any information I’ve been given has been passed straight on to them.
Well, come on then, what’s happened?
With all of the publicity, with the fact that the truck has been identified as a new-shape left-hand-drive Renault Magnum (of which there are probably less than a half-a-dozen in the UK at any given time), given that this truck will have been recorded on ANPR when entering and leaving Wetherby services, how come Plod haven’t made an arrest?

Sounds quite a common sense line of enquirey but we are talking about the police force here. Most couldnt find there arse with both hands or to busy terrorising motorists

All I get told by the police is that they are following up on leads, but at the end of the day. It is only a phone and I wouldnt want or expect them to throw much in the way of resources at this.

Just a note, we have asked West Yorks Police press office for some clarification about this thread and directed them to it, as yet they seem a little bemused and unaware but are going to make some enquiries and get back to us
