There is an argument for Sharia law

More likely the consequence of the relatively small population resulting in greater chances of being caught, rather than corporal/capital punishments

It’s also related to a shortage of famers who are fluent in Bovinese, it’s a dying art…

The evidence would suggest otherwise my friend :joy:

Another argument for administering bullets behind the ear as a one off punishment.

Torturing on line, (including scalding and wounding ) harmless baby monkeys for pleasure ffs. and this sick depraved cow was viewing the footage, and passing it on to others.

One baby monkey had been rescued, poor little ■■■■ er was absolutely terrified.
On Sky News this morning some depraved fat bastrd from the US, runs this by paying people in the Far East to carry this stuff out on line.
He was the sort of prick I would love to be locked in a secure room with for 20 minutes with a baseball bat.

Doubt you’ll need a weapon, these cowardly grubs only pick on victims that can’t fight back.

I’m grateful to the investigative reporting of dedicated people who brought this to the world’s attention. As far as I am concerned, the appropriate punishment for these people is the same brutality they perpetrated on defenceless animals, including putting at least one of them into a human sized liquidizer, as they did to one of their innocent victims.

Exactly. I’d happily throw the switch.

No, we do not need Sharia law. We need a return to Christian ethics to underpin a civil society.

Wtf has Christianity to do with it exactly ?
That is almost responsible for more trouble than the Shariah/Islam side of things.
Religion = Trouble as far as I am concerned.

Better to bin off ANY religion into ancient history, and just get back to basics and old style life and family values.
Bringing kids up properly for starters, teach them right from wrong, teach them manners and empathy, and go back to deterrents that work.

What has Christianity got to do with it?

First off, I didn’t say Christianity. I said Christian ethics. Teaching our children manners and empathy, which you suggest, are those ethics.

Surely Christian ethics are based on Christianity by it’s very name and definition?

As for the ethics… we can do that without
any mention of any religion,.that was my point.

Ethics? Wasn’t that where Chrith Eubanks came from?

Nah they used to be model aeroplane kits.

Leon Redda’s actions were described as ‘unbelievably reckless’

Another piece of sh off our streets.

But why…
(a) Did it have access to a gun being a civilian, let alone a kid, in the first place, to discharge it willy nilly with no thought for normal innocent people

(b) Has it become so acceptable, bordering on normal in this country for scum like this to have them ?

there is a reason that some groups shout racism over stop and search.

Now that’s a deterrent

What is the punishment of Sharia?

For a handful of specific crimes, the punishment is fixed (ḥadd): death for apostasy, amputation of the hand for theft and of the hand and foot for highway robbery, death by stoning for extramarital ■■■■■■ relations (zinā) when the offender is married and 100 lashes when the offender is unmarried,

No case for sharia law anywhere in the western world. I can think of loads of ways to punish some of these ■■■■■■■■■ Punishment not namby pamby rehabilitation.

And just today as reported by the BBC, Chief Constables throughout the land have been contacted to make fewer arrests in order to jail fewer due to lack of prison spaces.

As abhorrent as this crime is, it’s not in the league of murder, rAp3, child abuse and so on.

True. And this follows the news that more prisoners are being released earlier to make space.

It’s do as you like time.
