The Italian Jobs - Very long diary Part 1

Don’t get me wrong Adrian, I’ve done it in the past, I had three weeks away in this once which as you can see, is almost as small as a van.

It’s not that you can’t Vince…I just don’t like you.

Seems no one wants a job as those who replied haven’t rung to enquire so if anyone is interested in a european van driving job pm me.

Glen, Post the salary and see how many applications you get then!

Ok as Bigvern suggested the take home pay for this driving job was for me last month £1593 for around 14 days work and 14 days at home, this doesn’t include any overtime that could be offered during the 14 days off as these is paid at an agreed rate. now if that sparks your interest and you can start friday pm and I will give you contact details,

Again don’t need any more pm’s about the job as there are a couple of truckneters going for the job, good luck guys.

Let me know if they start buddy. Might be nice to put a face to the names.

Wonder if anyone else off here is joining us?

hope so got interview on fri with view to start on sat hopefully hope to see you down the road

Don’t expect the luxuries of modern day Sprinters though!

as long as its got wheels and goes will be ok ohh and dont brake down well not to much .have worked for companys where tool box is more important than out else .you sound like you enjoying the job

That’s the case …Ain’t started yet. The van has been with me at home since Sunday. I ship out Friday. Don’t know where yet.

ahh ok big vern well enjoy good luck

bigvern1:
Ah here’s the punchline Simon. I am starting at the very same company. I pick up my van tomorrow! Interested in my pics and shizzle now?

Ah, but different things will catch your eye, compared to what will catch Glens eye. Even on the same road. So we want Glens pics to go with his diaries and your pics to go with your diaries.

Take care of what you write and take pics of. Once it’s up, anyone can read it.

Eh?

My guess is that Simon might be referring to one of the pics and other things put up by some other driver…

tell you, what, if i meet te requirement’s your gaffa wanted, i’d be PM ing you over it, but i’m only 21. and the passport is well out of date…

  1. Aged over 25 only 21
  2. Able to be away from home for 14 days don’t care living with parents’ atm
  3. Have european driving experience. none at all
  4. Don’t mind roughing it across seats of a sprinter fridge van. i’m sure i’ve slept in worse place’s…

In return you get a decent wage, easy job and plenty of time off.

Yup, several drivers have posted stuff which might be considered a little ‘indiscreet’ over the years. Just take a bit of care, that’s all.
