Just thought I’d give this “Dave the Renegade” post a jolt,
it’s been hanging at the bottom of the pile for a long time
and to me he’s still a miss. A little something I could never
understand and it affected me was why an 18 years old NS
(national serviceman) could drive the largest military motor
the army had and when demobbed at age 20 be allowed to
drive only up to 3 tonners. Stupidity at it’s best I had to go
back to mining until age 21 a job I’d left to get called up.
I hope that you are well Harry and I know that there were a lot of us who were sorry to see Dave The Renegades other thread demoted to Bullies Bar.
