The Harry Gill Fan Club!

Seems like it’s hospitals for a few of us at the moment. I see my consultant Monday morning and then Tuesday, the other half is in at 7 a.m. for a “procedure”

Tell your dear lady Harry that an old man in Yorkshire sends his best wishes and he hopes all goes well for her. As for you…shut up moaning you tart  you’ve got a blood infection because you’ve diluted the bloody stuff with Glenmorangie. I’ve just had diarrheoa but you didn’t hear me moaning and complaining :unamused:

P.S. Only joking owd lad, I hope you and your lady are back to fighting fitness very soon.

Even someone of my tender years is spending a lot of time under the Doctor (she is quite a fit piece and at least it gets me out of the house! ) at the moment but nothing life threatening, just old age finally creeping up on me it seems. Plenty of pills daily for 18 months and then a review of the situation, assuming I am still around of course! So far this year I have lost four pals who were all younger than myself, in their early sixties. :open_mouth:

Pete.

Hope al goes well for you & your better half

I have a routine hospital appointment on monday afternoon as well just my ankle to see the consultant

Hiya,
At least you know what’s wrong Ang I’m kept in the dark like a bleedin’ mushroom
it’s gone on too long now but they have found a blood infection so they might be
able to do something when I see my GP on Tuesday “blood infection what the hell
is that” could be anything , anyway hopefully all will be revealed on Tuesday but
what will they find on Wednesday the mind boggles.
thanks harry, long retired.

One thing that they won’t find Harry is where you hid all your bloody garden tools.
Anyway all the best mate, I am sure that all will be well and you will be back on form in no time.

Best regards Steve.

Hiya,
I just leave my gardening and DIY tools at the end of the drive and they always
seem to vanish overnight I have a set of 13 inch factory alloy wheels to fit a
Metro in the shed, I’ve advertised them twice but no interest,so I’m going to put
them at the end of the drive and I bet they’ve gone by the morning I just wonder
who’ll take them.
thanks harry, long retired.

Best wishes from East Anglia Harry. Jim.

Dennis you are digging deep me friend, The toothless one was called The Bermondsey Gobbler, Another cockney freak, Everyone I know gave her a very wide berth, She was a horrible form of a women, I think she was from another planet, I was told she lived rough on the banks of the Thames, Regards Larry.

There used to be an old witch called Bridget The Midget who used to haunt the lorry park on Vallence Road just off Whitechapel Road. One night an old fellow who I used to work with called Malcolm and myself were just about to “hit the town” when Bridget came up to us and asked if were we both looking for a good time. Yes replied Malc, we are going down to The Red Lion in Aldgate.

Hiya,
Of course there was the more up-market lorry driver amongst us who always
“digged” out Hampstead way and sometimes got accosted by the Hampstead
horror a very shapely youngish maiden but a carrier bag was advised if you
was not too drunk, God was she ugly but I believe her flat was very smart
and did enjoy her male company and from what “I’ve been told” one drink is
all that was necessary to sample her charms and according to some drivers
she had pots of money and had a heart of gold.

The same midget was also a regular at the Boundary Cafe opposite WBA football ground, I can’t imagine anyone having the gonads to be seen with her in the cab when she was “in transit” :open_mouth: :open_mouth: Regards Kev.

Good news harry , nice to know things are favourable and a good outlook , but the outlook doesn’t look good for you if she hears you calling her old woman .

Geat news Harry. I had 25 doses of Radiotherapy last year and it is painless and quick. Shrank the tumour to nowt, so does the job. Jim.

Very good news Harry, Regards Larry.

Looks like today is good news day all round. Saw my consultant yesterday and got a clean bill of health following my CT scan and endoscopy.

That’s good to hear Harry, look after her.
