Hiya,
This site was started by the late Dave Lioyd " Dave the Renegade " I think as a bit
of fun initially and I didn’t think for one minute it would get beyond a couple or so
posts but the amount of “hits” it has had, lots of it just daft banter and mickey
taking, anyway Dave Rest in Peace mate and I’ll think of you every time I look in.
thanks harry, long retired.
Good heavens Harry , when did Dave pass away. I got back off my five weeks holiday two days ago to find that Archie Paice and now Dave The Renegade are no longer with us. I am sure that Dave would love this thread to carry on just like the rest of the members.
Hello everyone what a shock to find welsh Dave has pass away, the 28th of March I had a chat , he said he was going in to have his eyes done April 8th. Hope he gets a brand new HGV1 in heaven to drive.

Hiya,
Hello Norm, long time no speak mate, hope you are keeping well, truly bad news
about Dave he’s certainly going to be missed hows things with you and your good
lady keeping you in check Eh’ and keeping you away from the computer no doubt
I’m always getting told off for spending too much time on here and on facebook I
must find another interest she says I did suggest bird watching but she said that I
do enough of that already when we’re out shopping, she has an answer for just
about everything I say I should know better than try and suggest anything she is
always right and no doubt find some work to do now that the better weather is
just around the corner, the garden is like a bomb site where I pulled the green-
house down and never tidied the area up hate gardening with a vengeance and I
really shouldn’t be allowed near one.
thanks harry, long retired.

windrush:
Cooker’s are easy to operate Harry, well gas ones are but I have never cooked with an electric one so they might be more technical? However washer/driers are a different matter, I bought a new one when the missus was in hospital last year and it baffles me totally! Everything does get washed eventually but it probably takes twice as long as it should as I can’t fathom all the fancy settings. We really need a new microwave but I never mastered the last one and no doubt they are more complicated nowadays, why can’t things just stay nice and simple? It’s like me climbing out of my last lorry (a 1989 Foden) and clambering (or attempting to ) up into a new Scania or MAN, apart from a probably half sized steering wheel everything else would be alien to me!
Pete.
Hiya,
Pete my interest in modern day Lorries is on a par with kitchen equipment,
they all look the same and drive about spaced a few yards apart all doing
the same speed with very few having a nice paint job, and I too Pete don’t
think I could get in/out of one but in my case I wouldn’t want to.
thanks harry, long retired.

Remember the motor Fred very well actually drove it about ten yards on the

to get it that shiny Fred I’m struggling with a name for the guy who’s holding
it up I thought it was Smithy until I blew it up the face isn’t very clear on the
pic you posted.

You keep putting malt selection pictures like this up Laurence Dunbar…now cut it out or I WILL come and live with you and I’ll bring Mrs GOM as well.
Hell, at the moment I’m HAVING to drink Black Grouse.
This is Honey, Honey is an eight week old Golden Retriever and I when I saw her I just had to have her. I took her home as a present for my wife but I never realised that my wife was allergic to dogs and it is with deep regret that I decided that she has to go. So I am searching for a good home for her.
She has been a good wife for the last thirty years, she is a great cook and she holds a driving licence.

After yon Mr L Dunbar posted a picture of his drinks cabinet I was fired into life and searched t’interweb for some best buy Islay Malt. After a while I found that Asda did an “own label” Islay at a good price. Now I don’t DO shopping but needs must so I took a bravery pill and went to the local Asda, there it was, £20 a bottle. “Hmn, worth a try GOM” and last evening saw me imbibing.I have to report it’s VERY decent stuff, I enjoyed the couple that I had.

I have to visit the bottle bank every day. Sometimes somebody leaves a little bit in the bottom of the bottle I can have.
All together…AAAAWWWW!! Poor thing. Jim.
