harry , i think these electronic devices are taking over our lives . wires all over the house for charging all sorts of things , the corner where i sit is like a mare’s nest of chargers and wires , even the landline has to be plugged in as it has a repeater in the bedroom . i suppose we should be grateful though , we wouldn’t be able to talk rubbish to each other without these wonders of modern technology would we ? fathers day on sunday and i bet the family will come up with something else to baffle my poor overloaded brain . dave

I’m OK Larry as I hope are you, I’ve just had a few days in Blackpool not so
sunny on this occasion more wet and cold and windy but it still has the
edge over child minding which is the norm for Jen and me when at home.

Well Im off to see the Dr, tomorrow for a check up, He will tell me that Im overweight for my height, I have put a little bit on since I retired (Semi) when I was 66 , But of course as one gets older one dosent frequent in the lovley things that burnt the calories up just thinking about the niceties that one was going to enjoy when one hopped into bed & didn’t think about sleeping If I may say so., But who cares I certainly don’t Im pushing 80 & still enjoy what I do, And get up in a morning & think to myself Im a day older than I was yesterday, & the same age as my little finger & a bit older than my teeth, Im now having a large Single Malt before I head up the old apple & pears, & Hopefully I will still be on this thread tomorrow, Regards Larry.
