I think that’s him by the passenger corner Gill. It’s not my pic so can’t be sure. There’s a low bridge sign just there so I’m guessing he panicked and tried to pull a swift U turn  I’d say the only thing damaged would be his pride and bonuses, which is a ■■■■ sight cheaper than [zb] the bridge

I’d say your right there marra.

Think that lorries from Lockerbie because one of the truck up there seems to have gone completely from the fleet up there suddenly

It would seem that was a Chelford based motor. What wagon has disappeared from Lockerbie? unless i’ve been sacked…

Seems the ill planned u turn is a common phenomina at the moment .

Apologies for the non ES pic Gill just wanted show it can happen to anyone

He certainly is in a (screw) Fix!!

I’ll get ma coat.

Hello happysack

Thankyou for that marra. I thought H8065 has gone from Lockerbie but obviously not!

Don’t suppose with you been a ESL driver up there you have any photos of Laura Jane, the log wagon?

Bloody hell, he looks stuck fast!!

No need to apologise billybigrig, I’m interested in anything to do with UK Haulage, past and present

You must have a lot of low bridges in your area marra for this move to happen

0The wife saw this in Coalville today and said how much it resembled a Eddie truck LOL

Irlams back in business

Does this lorry look familiar in any way, does it have a remarkable resemblance to the James Irlam livery ? Records from companies House show that David and Michael Irlam are directors of Red Lorries and they seem to have 5 vehicles in this rather eye catching livery .

Photo is courtesy of and copyrighted to Ade Portlock.

The rear of their trailers also say “part of the Irlam family”

it certainly looks familiar!! maybe they will make a big come back with this new fleet? stunning photo :sunglasses:

Hello shell chemFL10

I think they are all 59 reg DAF XF’s marra but I’ll make sure about that

I think they are doing subbie work for Stobarts because a marra saw one at Tesco Goole the other day.

I don’t think they will either marra but you never know!

well they could of gone for some nice 10/60 plates too get with the times  i dont think they will last very long to be honest but as you say you never know what the future holds and also next time you mate is down at goole ask them too try and get a pic of one pulling a stobart trailer :sunglasses:

Hello ShellchemFL10

Nither do I do be honest marra. But, as I say, anything could happen.
And, with the Irlams still been shareholders of Stobarts, they might get some more subbing work through ESL.

I will do marra. He’d be more than happy to do that.
