That must have been the one these guys are on about…Eddie Stobart Van Man.
Funnily enough, I’ve seen the Mk 1 camper the last 2 Fridays, but it wasn’t there yesterday. The rotters wouldn’t let them tart their van up in Eddie colours. This one’s plain white with a boomerang-type roof aerial that’s been nicked off the boot of a Limo.
I swear I’ll get a photo one of these days…
Do Stobarts run any chemical tankers ? there’s someone on ebay selling stobart liveried gneral purpose tankers saying that its identical to the trailers operated by stobarts - I cant remember seeing one

No, Stobart have never operated chemical tankers. The one’s on ebay must be made up! Stobart’s have only just got there first tankers.
As for the camper van, I saw the original people from ES -T&T today in Carlisle (they looked a bit odd, but I sure the kind people down under!!).

The Girls Name on the front is exactly what we’re spotting!!! Edward Stobart named the first lorry Twiggy in the 1970’s and it’s stuck since. And no, they don’t look all the same, and anyway, you could say that about Stan Robinson, A W Jenkinson, Wincanton, T P Nivan, Owen’s Transport and many more british hauliers.
