just thinking it will be 19yrs this month i finnished working for Eddie…(no real prob but became a dad and wife worked nights in a hospital on good money sooooo.)
imo the old colour scheme looked better…the wagons on the fleet now seem better quality than what we drove.
BUT i recon from what i hear/read we were happier even wae our shirt/tie jersey driving around in our cargo/volvo7./f10 drags even the 95s lol.not forgetting, the old Metal box grey cargo drags shudder and the sudden accident,iveco,cargo artics.
ive never even seen the tv show (work/live abroad).
I always said in the earlier days we were proud to wear the uniform(sad i know but even i looked smart for about 10mins intae a shift).
so keep it up CG always good tae see some o the older photos…just waiting for a pic wae myself in it as i mind loads o time in Carlisle folk taking pics.
dont think i would work for the company now seems loyalty means nothing ,just a number …always mind parking up one day and Eddie walked over and asked how my day went,and saying keep up the good work james.
