I often ponder on the logic of if I have multiple accounts, why the hell would I choose to post anything with an account of someone who is on pre mod? IIt would be far better to post without the restraint of pre mod. I cannot be bothered nor does it concern me what anyone thinks on here, I switch off my computer and they are all gone. I stick to my real mates for social interaction. The site is full of these lonely odd people that simply cannot interact with people on a normal basis. That is of course a general view and there are plenty who are normal, you can spot these by the sensible posts and the way they conduct themselves, all I do is give back to them, never actually directly engage first. They come my way because they enjoy the attention that they get. It’s a bit like someone wanting to fight the bouncers in a nightclub trying to make a name for themselves. I only have to put a post up, sensible or otherwise and the nutters go into a frenzy.
Tell you what Jakey, I’d be up for meeting anybody on here, as unlikely as it would be, ESPECIALLY those (or the many ) who think I’m a complete ■■■■.

It’s a pity there were not more like you on this forum. Although we disagree from time to time (ok all the time ) at least you can have a discussion and are willing to back up what you say.

Jake you need to start another thread to leave… this one is already taken by Dozy. Seriously though don’t get down with a few nutters on here. Just remember you’re only sat at a computer. Imagine if you were actually sat with them and they were acting this way. Keep your sense of humour and your ■■■■ together mate. There is so much worse going on in the world at the moment that makes this forum irrelevant for comments being taken too seriously, I think in general most people on here even the haters are nothing like they portray on here. Just a bunch of blokes with an online ego fighting for position. Don’t take things to heart and take it for what it is, mainly banter and a few bruised egos but none are meant in a harmful way. I would help anyone out even the haters on here. In summary, this is not anything like real life. You can have equally good conversation with the good ones, I hope you stick around. (I need the back up)

Thanks for the support but honestly nobody on here gets me down. I like Rob just laugh at the ignorant ones who can only throw abuse around. Like you I always been the type to help others and luckily for me one of my hobbies let’s me do exactly just that.

Way I see it mate is this, …you came on here when? …couple of years ago?
Then you intentionally or unintentionally, (only you know) created this persona (and this is purely an observation btw not a criticism) of being a cut above the rest.
You came across as ‘I’m a professional engineer, I only drive trucks as a hobby, but I’m down here with you lot until my much more lucrative profession than yours, kicks off again’’ ie slumming it. …ok paraphrase/not in as many words.
Now you’re an intelligent and perceptive bloke, you know ■■■■ well that is deffo going to rub people, and especially truckers, up the wrong way, as anybody in any profession , when somebody comes on basically belittling the job they HAVE to do for a livelihood with no alternative for whatever reason.
Jakey also attracts criticism, his delivery comes across as ‘‘You lot are all crap drivers, I’m far superior in that field,.what I say goes’’…again rubbing people up the wrong way.
Then there’s doze, genuine or not…who knows? but still gets a lot of (mostly deserved) stick.
Even I have my share of ‘‘loyal fans’’ who hate me , and I admit, I do sometimes come across as an arrogant bast,.and full of it 
…and the fact that I have a zero tolerance to complete dicks (in real life as well as on here) maybe comes across as a bit strong, …but I also try and keep the balance by having a laugh on here, and if I’ve genuinely upset anybody I’ve apologised on a couple of occasions., I know humility ain’t my strong point, but I do try.
And that is the difference we both ■■■■ people off, but I try and rein it in and treat many on here as equal…because they ARE !!, , but guys on here have not forgotten your original stance on here, who you gave the air of superiority towards.
We all do the same job and I ain’t better than anybody on here…and then I treat the more sensible ones on here with a bit of respect…again as in real life.
In fact I’ve made one or two friends on here who I regularly speak to,.and try and meet when we can. (Not saying THEY are sensible btw )
So that’s my take on it,
