Tacho break law

stupid question again! but say if i only drove 24 hours in total up to my weekly rest and i took a reduced weekly rest does that need compensating for seeing as i havent filled my “quota” of allowed hours? or regardless of what hours i have dione it still needs compensating on the following third week?

Driving hours and weekly rest requirements are seperate issues

A reduced weekly rest period needs compensating for regardless of how many hours you’ve driven since the last weekly rest period.

i thought so so weekly rest and the 2 10 hrs increased driving time arethe only things that needs compensating if reduced/ increased?

Sorry I’m not sure what you mean, you only have to compensate for reduced weekly rest periods, there’s no compensation to payback for the 10 hour drive days

the only compensation needed is if you have a reduced weekly rest otherwise there are no other compensations to be made

You’ve got it

thank you tacho and all of the rest uve really made light of the difficult reading tachos and driver regs is
