A great picture John, At the top left of the scene was a large Transport Cafe, open 24 hours per day,
it is no longer a cafe, In lane 2 of the vehicles heading toward the camera, the bonneted Bedford
looks very much like one of Hollands pie vans from near Accrington. Cheers, Ray.
Went past this a few times, the whiff of cooked meat before you got there.

A Hollands Pies Bedford van from Baxenden, near Accrington in Lancashire. Sainsburys supermarkets sell
Hollands pies, so I assume that Hollands pies are available throughout the United Kingdom. Tasty,Tasty.
Ray.

When Hollands took delivery of a new Bedford they removed and greased every screw, bolt and nut that may need to be removed in the vehicles lifetime to cut downtime to a minimum, especially the fasteners that retained body panels as knocks in use were unavoidable in urban deliveries.

While Denis was probably repairing Georgie’s boots, hammering in those little leather studs, with the three nails on them.
