I guess your presuming the driver was irish, could have been any nationality more likely not to have been irish
+1 very unlikely to be Irish most of the Irish guys I know lost their jobs at the invasion from the east

What make Irish Wagons so
‘Special’ ?M6 Brum, southbound this morning, little bit busy but it was moving.
Irish ‘Knob’ decides that he is under 6’6" & uses the outside lane for about 3 miles. Now, we all know that the Irish are ‘Speed Limiter Exempt’ (or so it seems !) but I didn’t realise that they had ‘Special Permission’ to use the outside lane (let alone in a width restricted area !)
KNOB ! Hope he got seen on a camera & they pull him further down the Motorway, then make him miss the boat !
Why on earth would you want to see another driver get done

,I have my fall outs with other truck drivers, car drivers, bikers etc etc,but I’ve never thought I hope he gets done,it just never crosses my mind.
I maybe could understand it if he’d done something that endangered peoples life’s,but driving in the 3rd lane![]()

Let’s hope you don’t follow me around in the truck, you’d have them throwing the keys away at some of the antics I pull .
Because one of the reasons everyone hates us is that a minority of truck drivers go around behaving like utter asshats on the road. I’d like to see people blatantly breaking the rules get done for it too.

Things have improved at bit now. We don’t have many foreigners left, well we do, but they are mostly British! Lot more Irish driving trucks again, in past couple of years it’s been noticeable on the ferries the change.
It was Brazillians in Portuguese trucks or any other of their former colonies such as Angola/Mozambique driving around Europe.
The Spanish firms hired South Americans.
Had many a chat with drivers from Chile,Equador,Columbia and Argentinia.
In the UK when a local paper reports a Spanish driver gets stuck following sat nav,the reporter assumes he is Spanish due to the number plates or written on the lorry.
In reality he will not be.More than likely to be from Peru.
Hiya …i think you’ll find the Irish run at 100kph (62mph)leagally. it always made me mad why they was alowed
