from my the boss has told me the insurance company is legally obliged to repatriate a stolen recovered vehicle . this one , the mini bus , i had some information with me for the spanish courts and police and also talking to the police when i was there .
the story goes that the minibus was stolen in 2005 from the bristol area , it was allegedly stolen by 6 polish men . and was en route from the uk to poland . why spain i hear you shout … your guess is as good as mine , my own theory is the map was upside down … anyway it was spotted , possibly by uk intelligence people working at the spain france border . the insurance company paid out 2900 pounds on it . it was stopped in northern spain and has been on the side of the road for 2 years , every window was damaged , no keys , ignition was broken , no seats inside , load of rubbish inside from people living in it .
