Hi Rowly. I follow the rugby on Wales on line and saw the photos on the news section.
I’ve been through a number of hurricanes here, and many bad storms in a sub tropical climate. The force of Mother Nature is unreal.
As you say, the people of the community keep the spirits up and they will recover.
Best wishes to all affected.
Paul

We used to deliver Alcan slabs from their Lynemouth plant which sadley is closed, It was a good pay job and of course we allways loaded back with Plywood from Roath Dock, The good old days when owner drivers could earn some decent dosh, Regards Larry.

Lawrence Dunbar.
Hi Larry , just been looking at the post on Alcan.
Back in the seventies when I worked for John Raymond we moved a tower crane from Pembroke Power Station to the Alcan plant near Ashington, would that be the plant at Lynemouth ? ( long time ago ! ).
Iirc myself and the late Fred Ames aka Freddie the Fly stayed at Bellinghams digs alongside the Tyne.
Again it was a long time ago but I hope my memory serves me well and I assume Bellinghams has long long gone.
Regards, Allan
