Hi Andrew, I remember L&S Freelance from Lancs selling these off, ex stock, when I was last in their yard, the warehouse had DAF 2800 cabs , AEC Panels etc…about 16 years ago!..all now worth a fortune…LAR sounds good, 1 black one 1 white one…and a red one!

I don,t think they want to part with that one,it was I think? The first fh birdy bought.had two new guys ring me today confirming entry for the lar,10 of us is the way it’s looking .won’t be long now.

Still quite few of the old names calling it a day, spike to fellow Steelboy Steve E, he tells me Martins from Corsham have closed this week, they have a little Albion and an 88 in the toy cupboard, and was also told Noel Zweckers, from Armagh have also packed up due to costs…with fuel the way it is, and rate still stuck in the 90s, is it any wonder!

yes you are right.i really don’t know how?or if?the uk hauliers can absorb the cost of fuel these days.noel zwecker were “a name” in irish fridge transport,who can blame them!!!another well established business closure.anyway rant over,for now
