i went past vauxhall luton a while back and a lot of the H block was still there then.what happened with the watkins f86? i didn’t know they ran one tbh.thanks.

Thanks for the Watkins pics chaps, those 8 leggers were man killers, but one of the regular drivers was rewarded with that F86, what happened to it?

Hi andrew and deecee, that F86 was very unreliable according to one of its drivers … several problems and Watkins vowed not to buy another !! . I belive it may have ended its days as a shunter at either the Whitehead , or GKN tremorfa …, i note that the former garage still proclaims J M Watkins Westgate garage … deecee, by any chance do you remember the Scammells Watkins ran ? … i did not see them myself … Geraint .
