You’re wasted on the road. Get a job as a planner in a large transport office, you’ll fit in well there. :open_mouth:

You may all take the mick out of him for his comment and yes I am 1 of them but it’s not the best route question I’ve ever heard.
12 years ago I was stood in the drivers room with a couple of other drivers at my last employer when 1 of the other drivers entered and asked a genuine question about a job he was doing the next day.
His question was,
what junction on the M25 should he take to get on the M1 to leeds.
now your all sitting there wondering what is so odd about this question!
well the truth is that he was going to travel from the yard (eye, suffolk) A140 South, A14 East, A12 south, M25 West, M1 North

a1, a66, m6,a7

It’s bin 3 days now Betty, which way did you go ? or are you still undecided.

That’s the way I’d go too. I think it’s as broad as it’s long, that way or A1 and A68, but as mentioned, Newcastle is mega [zb]ed at the moment with the 40mph average SPECS on the A1 round the town which of course means everyone does 25mph. The SPECS between Leeming and Scotch Corner aren’t too painful if you are able to deal with not getting above 45mph til the width restriction on lane 2 ends.
