Sod all you old gits

Leaving the never ending wingeing of millenials aside for a moment  , as others have touched on the Putin angle i’ll chime in momentarily.

The reason that Putin is public enemy number one is not just the invasion of Ukraine (which was inevitable seeing as the war really started in 2014) but because the BRICS countries are forming their own currency and the $ is going to be ditched throughout vast swathes of the world, the oil and mineral producing world, and a Russia/China alliance sees the USA no longer able to march around the world waging war on whichever mineral rich state it likes with no one able to resist.

Gaddafi also had plans to form an alternative African currency and ditch the petro dollar, that was the real reason why Libya was attacked and Gaddafi murdered brutally (thanks Dave for doing the bidding of the USA once again just like your father figure Tony), oh how Hillary laughed, which ironically leads directly to the demographic destruction of europe, including the UK, as there’s now no one stopping the mass migration from sub saharan Africa northwards nor the overland mass migrations from the middle east…you and your children no matter where you live will rue the day this happened but by then history will have been air brushed to suit the narrative of the day.
These here today gone tomorrow politicians always leave a trail of destruction in their wake as they stroll off back to the comfortable Cotswolds or whatever protected part of the world they own, the damage they wreak never affects them or their class.

Remember to vote for the same people next year but don’t be surprised if you end up with the same result.

S’ok, millenial wingeing can resume :smiling_imp:

And back currency up with gold once again, which should never of changed, but how else could their ponzi scheme work.

The reason old gits had it better is they weren’t chasing imediate gratification, and worked towards a better life, not just expected it to be given to them, through bleating and moaning about it.

Bloody baby boomers.

So let’s get this straight you get to be born around the 50s/60s…

  • Pretty much free education
  • cheap / free dental and healthcare - maybe you paid for dental care but it was peanuts compare to thesedays.
  • cheap fuel prices… heck even the cars were cheap… picking up old bagers for a couple of quid trading them about like [zb] cigars.
  • Paying tax? totally optional… Cash in hand is king. For the majority of the 60s/70s/80s and prob 90s.
  • House costs around 10-30 for a decent 3 bedroom house and it will shoot up in value by 300% by the time your 60+.

So yea, I am a little bitter. But oh no that is not it.

Now that your a old fat git and in your golden years.

  • You get free healthcare and free prescriptions because your over 60. Whereas me I have to pay full rates for prescriptions.
  • You get a full over the top national lockdown to protect you from covid. Does not matter if children will lose out on education (almost a million still not back in school) does not matter if loads of people lose their jobs… we gotta protect da boomers.

I actually could go on for quite a long time.
Truth is though I am not angry at the boomers. I am envious. I wish I was born in the 50s or 60s. you guys had it good. I literally finished school in the same year as the 2007/08 financial crash and it has only gotten worse.

What a load of rubbish , I started work at 12 & other than 1 week have worked all my life , 62 , I’ve worked 12 hr nights 7 days a week, mrs has done 3 jobs to keep a roof over our heads , I drove round in a £150 Ford cortina , inner / outer seals made up of mastic , gear leaver held in by wire tied under gearbox as didn’t have money for anything else , our furniture was mainly what family gave us , a holiday was a caravan at skeggy , wsm etc , sarnies on the beach , we had 1 kid because that’s all we could afford , we started off in a 2 up / 2 down house etc etc yet we had it easy
Compare with 30 yr old daughter , nice 3 bed house , 69 plate fiesta vignale, holidays in Mexico etc , bloody tv that’s bigger than most of the living rooms I had , 1,000,s in savings etc etc
My dad other that furniture he didn’t want never helped me , me / mrs had to work for what little we had , my girls dad paid for her car ( difference between her old one / new one ) , 2x doors £2,000, bloody great fridge / freezer , dish washer ( I still
Wash up myself ) , £1,500 for a week at centre Parcs , 1,500 for her to come to a to Ibiza with her mum / dad , her cats vet bills etc etc etc etc etc etc
I can’t speak for any older ones but my girl/ boyfriend have had it a sight easier than me & her mum
Nb she enjoyed her last holiday that much she’s comming to Cyprus with us , boyfriends baby sitting the cats , another 1,600 !!( she’s always so thankful so I don’t mind

Robroy.I was half joking but the last time I did a cpc the “teacher” made us turn the phones off and put them out of sight because he had an instance where the inspector turned up,seen everybody playing with their phones and he said the lesson wasnt being conducted properly.I dont know if he made them do it again.

He ‘MADE’ you turn your phones off?
Exceeding his authority there a bit I reckon, …but I’d bet you did it.
Keeping your phone in sight would have been sufficient in case you get an urgent call I reckon.

I 100% agree with everything you said.
I salute your knowledge of Gaddafi and the new bricks+ currency that I think most people are unaware of.

Gaddafi was ■■■■■■ though as soon as he trusted the west and had his desert picnic with Tony Blair. He should of never of given his weapons up.

Oh and Rob your chatting ■■■■ about Ukraine and Putin lol. It’s basically two highly corrupt countries that both have a ton of fascists.

I bow to your superior knowledge.

This is why North Korea wont give up the nukes. He has seen what happened to Gadaffi and Saddam Hussein and he knows he will likely suffer the same fate.I think its time to end the sanctions if nothung can be done to stop him being in the nucleur club.I dont think he is a threat to anyone

Sploom:

I don’t think that Japan share your wistful thinking unfortunately.

No,I suppose they wouldnt.I was thinking more of the South Koreans. They hear this sabre rattling year in,year out. They end up thinking, yeah yeh,we heard it all before.North Korea doesnt want to be wiped off the map. So,the Americans cant overthrow Kim,they cant stop him building nukes,so they sanction him but that only affects poor people, not the regime, they dont go hungry.
I think its time to stop these annual military exercises and accept that we have to live with a nucleur North Korea and, lets face it,if you were in his position, you would hang on to the nukes as well.I certainly would

.But surely, you wouldn’t need nukes - you’ve got God on your side haven’t you?

Good point, never thought of that but the nukes are a deterrent all the same.If Ukraine had held on to its nuke, they wouldnt be at war now

Sploom:
Good point, never thought of that but the nukes are a deterrent all the same.If Ukraine had held on to its nuke, they wouldnt be at war now

Maybe. I think the bigger issue was their push to join NATO.

youtube.com/watch?v=0epyHOz-Pbs - Bush talking about supporting Ukraine joining NATO - 2008
bbc.co.uk/news/10229626 - 2010 Ukraine promising not to join NATO once they got a new leader.

Then you have the 2014 revolution. Since then Ukraine has been playing a dangerous game as the country is split ethnically, those who are ethnic Russians and those who identify as just Ukrainians. The guys who got into power were extremely hostile to Russians. Ethnic Russian businesses were often raided or torched. Then you had militia on both sides engaging in conflicts.

It is such a convoluted messed up situation in Ukraine, I do not fully understand it. Generally though those in Donestk and luhansk are pro Russia because they have faced discrimination.
youtu.be/wetleAB1XmY - Now maybe all these people are paid actors for Russia haha, I do not know.

My point is Ukraine is a mess. Eastern Ukraine is akin to Scotland. A lot of population is not a fan of the Kyiv government.
I don’t know if Russia would of always invaded Ukraine but Ukraine should not of pushed so hard to join NATO. There were no issues until the overthrow of the old regime in 2014. Which was no doubt CIA influenced.

When the Soviet Union fell there was meant to be peace… No more of Russia trying to influence and install communist regimes in central and Southern America and in return the NATO borders would remain the same. But what has actually happened is NATO has continiously push the borders of NATO closer and closer to Russia.

twitter.com/KimDotcom/status/16 … 269042176/

We agreed and promised not to move the NATO border when Germany got unified.

I think it is important to see things from both sides. Now if you took the time to read what I said and you think Putin is still a complete mad man and has no cause to invade Ukraine… then that’s fair it is your view. Personally I think we are the ones that caused this war. We also seem to be more than content to fight this war until the last Ukrainian.
