That thing looks ■■■■■■■ smart, especially without the clichéd old crap that seems to litter most ‘tidy’ Volvos and Scanias.I know of one local OD who loves his Stralis and one of my plant hire mates can’t wait to chop his XF95 in for one.

It’s not there isn’t anything wrong with Ivecos it’s more there’s nothing right enough with the competition to justify the extra money. Traction in poor conditions and interior build quality are genuine issues most others are either not unique to Iveco or just general crap from drivers that wanna be livin the Scania dream.
Ive not driven Iveco’s, but this paragrah seemed to sum up my feelings on the Renault Premium, of which I drove 4 over an 11 yr period, upto 4 yr ago. 3 off which were brand new and the other 2 yrs old but well cared for. As I was the sole driver on all of them they all stayed in good nick, under powered for top weight, but in reality top weight was rarely used. Not on top of the job but good enough to get it done, and as a brand new motor with several years off warranteed running availablei, as good an option as a 2ndhand trotter/topline/mega space or whatever for the same price.
Though I’m in a Globby now, but I dont buy the motors

I did appear in the mag wearing my Federal Express / Matchbox uniform, which impressed the boss of Matchbox Toys and got me a nice little check extra
