So 1984 is finally here (30 years late)

I am not worried, they have been listening to me for years and I just repeat what the voices in my head tell me.

I think it’s a good idea, if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. It is the best way to stop those evil murdering cowardly Islamists carrying out their mess murders etc. When those tossers bombed the tube and that bus the reason their identities were found so soon is because of street cameras, otherwise the rest of the evil gang would be out there free. The USA actually envies the UK for it’s surveylance network. Terrorosts use the web and forums like Facebook to comunicate so any anti British posts will be seen. If Muslims who want Sharia law don’t like it they can go and live in a country where that wicked system exists … but wait ! if they do that they won’t get unemployment pay etc :astonished:

You gotta be kidding !!! How about we start with the assumption that someone needs a real reason to trawl through my personal data, rather that my personal data can be trawled through willy nilly? And as for ‘evil murdering cowardly Islamists’ , where are they? For the handfull of attacks claimed by the government to be by them in the last ten years in the UK and USA , there is no proof the attacks have come from any such people. The Americans are noted for being simple minded, has this extended to ex pats too?

Juddian:
The electoral turkeys have been voting for Christmas all their miserable lives, and finally when its all but too late realise whats happening, can so few of you think for yourselves.

Whilst you the electorate continue as instructed by the media, propaganda arm of the current owners of the country, to vote for the three factions of the one party state…the lib lab con party, commited to surrender to the EU masterstate whilst amazingly simultaneously being the tail for the Americans to wag…you will continue to endorse their relentless charge into a total surveillance and monitored society.

Pity you won’t be around to see them inserting electronic chips into the heads of your great great grandchildren shortly after their birth, then you might realise what you have done.

As for the the Muslim situation, i couldn’t for the life of me hazard a guess why they should hate certain parts of the west with such venom :unamused: …you’d think they would welcome the cruise tomohawk missiles and other laughingly called precision weapons that have killed so many innocents in the pursuit of their oil and regime changes.

It has happened on your watch and you have voted for it.

Could’nt agree more, well put, saved me writing it and then Carryfast getting involved. :unamused:

The biggest fear BIGGEST of all, is being pulled for something you didn’t do…

…and being unable to prove that you didn’t do it!

My computer has slowed right down, it is though someone is watching my every move

Of course it could be some simple April Fools joke and we have read it in the newspapers which are full of untruths.

There is a helicop…

Email and web use 'to be monitored' under new laws - BBC News

Like they don’t already. And ■■■■■■■■ to ‘if you aint doing anything wrong you got nothing to worry about’.

Things change. At the time of writing for example is is legal to be an atheist. But what if things changed? A fanatical religious party came in to power. Then there is all the information needed to purge society of the newly illegal non believers.

I think it’s a good idea, if you have nothing to hide you have nothing to fear. Like they’re all going to be posting all their activeties all over the internet now though. All they’ll do is probably hold some meetings down at the local mosque and talk total bollox amongst themselves that no one can understand just like the French resistance instructions which we used to send over the radio during WW2. :open_mouth:

Only the British could be stupid enough to let in a load of homicidal nutcases who hate us and then worry about what they might be planning when they get here. While we’ve got the army out there chasing them around in Afghanistan on a wild goose chase through a minefield when the zb’s who aren’t hiding in Pakistan are already here or on their way. :unamused:

SHUSH, Someone’s listening !!!

I read years ago that if you send someone two innocuous emails, and title the first one “Bush Blair assassination attempt” and the second one “Granny’s birthday party”, that the second one will arrive with the recipient before the first one.

Are you sure it aint an April fools thing…

i also read if you send it by royal mail today you might get it in 3 years time if your lucky

I don’t have a problem with the government having access to any data but it’s got to be on a targeted basis.
What they are proposing is recording everything everyone says, does and thinks and that is dangerous.
Just look at what’s come out in the wash at the leveson inquirery the police was passing information to the press and the press was using private detectives to hack into people’s private data.
If this comes into law you’ve got to assume every call, text, email and personal detail is open to anyone so long as they can afford to buy it.
