Riggers for me I like them there comfy and I can slip them on up the yard in the morning when I’m half asleep. Bought a pair off dickies steel trainers for when it’s dry there ok but bloody heavy got a fair size sole on them though they make me feel taller and as I’m 5,9 on a good day every little helps .
Slip on some trainers for driving, lace up steel caps for work. Never polished just cleaned when needed using the high pressure washer in the yard.

I wear Birkenstocks for driving and keep my lace up steelies in the side locker, leaving the fridge work behind next week for a new career driving acid tankers so it’s going to be boots all the way for me
being a lazy git ive got lace ups but with an added zip which makes them dead quick to get on for wearing on site, but always drive in cheap n cheerful trainers
V12 Steelie dealer boots in the side locker and an ancient pair of Merrell trainers for driving in.
