I got the cack about “families being wiped out running in the back of parked trucks with no lights”
, I told him that I should have realised that said ind est was a popular venue for families driving at night
,
If the parents were that zb myopic, they were probably not there own kids anyway!
I know this is completely unrelated but did anyone see something about Jame’s May in one of his programs and it featured something that makes petrol out of thin air?
It says ERF not RAF:

And for all of those who don’t like the copper because he done his job, I bet you’d all moan if he didn’t do his job and something happened! …as per usual though, truckers just make complaints about someone doing their job because they’re too lazy to do their own properly!
He’s still a jobsworth copper trying to get brownie points without using common sense. Just because something is illegal/prohibited doesn’t mean you should get done just for the sake of it.
I do my job properly and to the best of my ability, thou’ some jobsworth copper/VOSA would still find something to whinge about just because they wear a uniform and have the power to do so !
I see what you’re saying…but the phrase “beggars can’t be choosers” springs to mind here…everyone moans about coppers not doing enough and so on, but when they do do something, people moan some more! yes he might be a jobs worth trying to get brownie points…but at least he’s not being funded by tax payers money to sit around at the airfield I fly from ignoring calls…and lets face it, I think that most people on here would do similar things to get brownie points if it meant getting a bigger pay cheque.

An interesting point. I have done this as an experiment or simply as a test to see if a dynamo or alternator is working, I reckon the problem is when you try to drive anything else from your “free energy”
I am forever looking for the answer to perpetual motion
The nearest I have got to it is in the pub, drink 4 cold pints and then ■■■■ 4 warm pints later that evening. Free energy!
you wouldn’t even get that far!! once the other power source (to get it going) was removed the whole thing would stop, never mind power anything else. you can’t create energy, you can only transfer it and when you do you lose quite a lot of it!!

why does beggars can’t be choosers spring to mind?? we’re not advertising for rozzers with next to no one applying

i’d prefer it if they did just that, rather than get funded twice for not doing proper police work.

that’s where me and most people on here as you put it (you!) differ then. i’m quite moral which is one of the reasons i’d never be a copper. i couldn’t give someone a ticket for safely exceeding the speed limit or a truck parked up without sidelights on, or a householder who whacked a burglar. legally wrong, but morally don’t deserve a fine or points
