Hopefully, I’ll have these photos for you soon. I really didn’t want to take my digi camera to work. so one of the other shunters offered to take some with his phone and mail them through to me, but they came out fuzzy. He was going to try again last night, so…
Well, my colleague brought his camera to work, took some pics and reckons he sent them to me. They never arrived. If I can’t get anything sorted by Monday, I’ll take my own camera in and get some pics. I’m not shunting again until then. I was supposed to be shunting on Saturday, but they’ve told me I’ve got to have Saturday off, because I’ve done too many hours. Oh dear.

These tugs go 24 hours.
When we get out of 'em, the day shift get in. And vice versa.
They do make the shift a bit easier though, so it’s all good.

Nice photos K.
I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again those Terbergs were the best tractor units in the yard,a brilliant bit of kit.
I couldnt agree more. I used 2 @ Reed boardall the best one was the T-reg it had a Cat engine put in after the old engine went bang with lots of white smoke. But I liked using a 1838 l-reg Merc with eps.
the “short straw”
FL12 Day cab, thats gotta be quite rare. Best shunters i ever had, F7,FL7,FL10. Had an FL10 on the road and hated it.

Yeah, that’s gotta be a collectors piece hasn’t it?! I didn’t mind the old gals for day work, maybe i’m a bit twisted but i think that one looks quite smart! There’s something ‘right’ about them i reckon. Sound nice too. …there’s nothing ‘right’ about having a night out in one though! (…especially that particular example!)
not like their cars
