Dred to think what it would be like now with the people we have on our streets you would get up in the morning need new ropes and sheets every day because they had been cut to bits in the night.
Yes I’v had that happen a few times at deadly hours in the morning, just had to join the ropes together & re do it until you got back to the yard. But I expect I’ll be judged wrong again by the experts on this site & told I should have purchased new ropes when the shops opened at 9 in the morning!!
PS I’v been roping & sheeting loads since I was 15 (now 65) so I will give any of you lot a competition anytime you like. I await more know all ■■■■■■■■ comments.

Hello F/R
Now that would be good, I would be up for that, anybody else?
Well now then F.R. if you put shots on of S&R like that one what do you expect,“congratulations for a job well done” ? So it’s no good spitting the dummy out and slinging all the gear out of the pram when you draw a bit of “Flak”.How about sticking some shots on of loads you have actually done yourself with your own trailer and gear. And as for issuing silly challenges,do me a favour it’s only having a bit craic although the comments do come from lads that have been there and done the job, properly like.Cheers Bewick.

How about you & your colleagues get some facts before you decide to criticize other people, I have only just joined this Trucknet site & was looking through the pages to see what I could add too. I owned & ran 15 Trucks before I retired in 2011 (see Kent Transport pages 19 to 21) & you will see what I have archived (driving for other companies & my own vehicles) most of my work was ex Docks (import & Export) on Traction work (that means pulling other companies trailers). Spitting my dummy out as you say if so is in response to the back biting from this page (is this page a closed shop for Rope & Sheeting self confessed experts?) When you make comments like ‘Done the Job Properly’ don’t you realize you’ll get peoples backs up? Well I wont bother with continuing to correspond to this page again. I’ll stick with the main pages & leave you lot to have multiple ■■■■■■■ over your ‘perfect roping & sheeting pictures’ ps I have found a picture of a sheeted load I have done (plus fly sheet) working for RFS (part of Bowaters Sittingbourne) in the 80’s you can just see it on the left, I do hope it meets your approval? I’ll also put a picture or two on your page of some of my old fleet, please no ■■■■■■■, ho you wont there is no Roped & Sheeted loads to look at. All the Best R.J Matthew

I think rigsby is on about the lad stood in front of the Renault.
Flying Rabbit, I’m enjoying your input and pictures to the various threads you have contributed to, just ignore some of the tossers you get on here.(Dennis excluded) Its always nice to have new contributions and pictures and your trucks looked smart, carry on and ignore the idiots.
