Thanks, altitude- not only Dave who knows that part of the world, then!
I go through Leominster 3 or 4 times most weeks. I don’t live far from there.

As John says Casey, Dales are still very much in business. They have apparently sold their current site to Sainsbury’s and are relocating to the Enterprise Park next to Southern Avenue.
Cheers Dave.
Yet another supermarket, then! Southern Avenue- is that where the feed mill used to be?

Wish I had a quid for every load I’ve tipped at BOCM. It took me five hours one winter’s night in the 80s to get to Leominster from Liverpool with soya meal which they were desperate for. Then I failed to get home from Leominster empty and spent the rest of the night in the F88 until a pair of coppers in a farmer’s tractor rescued me at about 10.00 am. Happy days!

Strange that most of the feed mills that sprang up in the 1970’s have just about all gone. Now its Lloyd’s Animal Feeds and Wynnstay that seem to be the main one’s down this way.Dalgety at Knighton,Countrywide at Presteigne and Farmore at Craven Arms have all gone along with some others.
Cheers Dave.
Most of our return loads were for one of our regular clients, Sun Valley Feeds at Tram Inn, but we did fairly regular work for BOCM.
