Lovely cab for these Somua trucks of the first half of the 1950’s!
I hope this forum has not died after moving to the new platform. It was one of my favourites.

Excellent Froggy. A fine looking machine.
Italy was famous for its “centipedes”. Here’s a gorgeous example with this Lancia Esagamma 10x4/6 airport fueller. A pity it wasn’t admitted on public roads!
Hello Paul…where the F$&k have my thousands of photos gone…can’t find any…also my PMs dont tell me weve lost the lot…

Unfortunately, it indeed seems all pictures posted on the old Forum are lost. Nevertheless, it also seems it’s coming back to life, and let’s keep it going!
Interesting looking Willème Paul, not really pretty, but way ahead of the rest I would imagine with such a powerful engine under the bonnet…?
They still have them Paul, although in a modern jacket, and with 750hp on tap, they’re a bit quicker as well😉
Saw this one a couple of weeks ago at Viacenza.
I fully agree, it’s been way too long since we had some proper activity on here!
Come on Senior, do your best and whack some stuff on here again mate!
Same 35 tonnes GTW as the Willème for this c. 1950 Bernard, but it had to do with a 105 bhp Gardner 6 LW. Lerss the half the power of the Willème!
That DAF in the last pic got the grey stuff working Senior, I found these from that firm. Courtesy of G. Huizinga and P. De Groot.
That must have been a proper boneshaker!
Hey Froggy, that is quite an old-timer - solid wheels an all. The only air suspension then was when your backside left the seat going over a bump.
