A Renault in the late 1930s.

pv83:
Does this looks familiar to anyone? At first I thought it was the Willeme used by Polish firm ZTE, but I somewhat doubt it’s them…

Patrick,
You are getting hold of some cracking pictures here mate, Thank you

Morning Paul,
Those barrels have got to be empty or that would be pulling a wheelie with that overhang!

Never would have suspected you were such an artist Robert

No need to worry about that wheelie mate, it’s all tightly secured by one piece of rope…

Love that tiny mirror though, I reckon those are now used by birds doing their restoration work…whilst driving a car

Is this one from your neck of the woods Fergie?

It’s way up on the beautiful rugged north coast, haven’t seen the company around so guess like so many they’ve long gone…there’s no industry up there, so guess it was transporting fruit and veg.

As you probably know, the French had some outstanding truck cartoonists and artists, amongst which were the artist who did these two (along with hundreds of other super-realistic drawings); and of course ‘Graphite Garage’ who drew for France Routes magazine  . Robert

Thought I had some pic’s of these wagons… the latest ones appear to be in the '80’s, so that’s perhaps when it ceased to operate…if indeed it has, will make further enquires.

Ah well timed to perfection, off on hols to the north west coast of Scotland . Do you think that is far enough away to escape the fallout when Madame Fergie and the Whippersnapper finally meet ? Dave

I do understand he has stepped out of line a few times and needs to be shown the error of his ways. But please go easy on him Fergie. I don’t want him scaring my kids if he appears here in bandages or plastered up. They could be scared for life!!

They’ve already met me without being covered in bandages and plaster and that already scared the ■■■■■ out of them…no wonder Mrs Sutherland thinks of me as the bogie man… :unamused: :unamused:

No use wriggling youngun, to quote private Frazer YOU’RE DOOMED , just take you’re punishment like a man .

Still existing, a Somua JL19 with Cottard cab, near a Peugeot D4B van.

Strangely, I never saw it on a French Forum or magazine!

The tipper in the last picture looks a tad precarious. I would have been nervous seeing my trailer at that angle, leaning over.
