Interesting, that one Stellan. There was a company in Peterborough called PENGCO who also made demountable bodies. I wonder, because of the “PEN” part of the name, if there was any connection.
I have a brochure for them, but unfortunately my scanner has stopped working and I haven’t got time to replace it at the moment (i’m off to work
shortly, and will be away for some time). Hopefully i’ll remember when I get home and get it on here.

Maybe this one from Pengco will do until you get home again

/Stellan

That’s the one Stellan.
It’s a different brochure from the one that I have, and I believe yours is from a later date.
Coincidently, when they ceased trading, the Oxney Road site was bought by my then employers,
Reads of Peterborough, a transport company who used the site for warehousing.

Nice one ‘pdw’.
Scania, in particular, have always produced some nice brochures.

Is this “jumping indicators” anything that has been used in the UK, or was it a specific Swedish thing? I only post the first page of this brochure from 1955 since all text in it are in Swedish :stuck_out_tongue:

/Stellan

Some more Diamond Reo…

That’s an odd looking vehicle, Stellan. At least it won’t be a problem if you don’t get on with the passenger!
Here’s something that’s more mainstream from STERLING.

How about this one from Serbian manufacturer FAP.

Another one that will be unfamilier to most is this product from Yugoslavia - TAM.

I had the opportunity to get a ride with one of those in the old Yugoslavia(Macedonia), it was really a shocking experience coming from my Scania 112 and be transferred back forty years… :stuck_out_tongue:

A newer TAM, photo from 1985.

A Russian language exercise from 1982.
