Royal mail hgv

Mr Bridger:
With difficulty now mate. Agency drivers went through a good run with being taken on on the HGV side but that door has closed now with Royal Mail career path being offered to employees.

That’s just the thing tho, I don’t want to drive the trucks for them, I want to just be your old regular postie you see sticking ■■■■ in peoples letter boxes.

Every time a position comes up in the local offices, I apply and hear nothing back.

I’ve been doing it for 10 years mate. Job is really not what it used to be. I’m looking out now and so is a lot of others. All new workers are agency staff on 1 hour contracts being messed around every day.

Agreed mate, it was a great job back in the day. The last time I did a delivery it was 2 deliveries and home by 11am-Midday, it was a doddle.
