Where is Rob K when you need him ? How much are the tickets to see this transpire in to a twenty pager.

No coz your annoyed and can’t remember who the plain white lorry that upset you really was . If you want to meet fine Rox has my phone number ask him for it don’t slate me on an open forum .

Funnily enough i was driving a plain white unit pulling a Gist trailer Wednesday night on the M74 and was overtaken by a Robert Burns truck on the limiter in very poor conditions.
Anyway as I was safely doing 50 I could see him pulling away heading for another comrade who was also doing about 50. Seeing the gritter lorry in the distance taking up most of lane 2 & 3 I thought we would all ease off to pass by safely.
Nope this right plonker decides to pull out and overtake the front vehicle (which I presume is the OP) then the brake lights come on to allow the Robbie back in before colliding with the gritter.
Nice bit of driving by the OP, think the Robert Burns driver may need glasses or is better off staying at home and taking up knitting or some other non masculine pastime…

Ahem, we’ll be the judge of that thank you Tone!
^^^ Agreed.
must admit i hate the i am invincible type who wont back off in case they get a bollocking from the boss.
maybe they pay good enough money to justify flying everywhere?
I wish you would all leave the 30mph guys that are scared of a little snow some slack we all were inexperienced in the snow when we started driving, with time these drivers will progress to our standard and be able to drive as fast and safely as we do I snow and ice
When you start pushing drivers that ■■■■ themselves when it snow all you get is trailer across three lanes

popcorn ready.I’m not sure what I loath more, the [zb] that start dawdling at crawling space the moment a gossamer of snow starts to cover the deck, or the tools that keep at full tilt when the deck is no longer discernable from the verge…
What I am sure about, is that it is always the other driver that is the berk.
Fair point. If drivers didnt play follow the leader, at the sight of a few flakes of snow, more lanes would be kept snow free.
One mans whiteout is another mans flurry.
no pop corn but ill have one of them flurry things
What an anti-climax. Such high hopes and in the end it was nothing more than a bit of name calling, “oh hold me back” chest swelling & both disappearing after a couple of posts.
Me thinks they both feel they were in the wrong and none of them came off with any integrity so they have slinked away.

Are you reffering to when Gav put his Burns trailer down a ditch at the side of the Motorway ? Its unclear what you mean.
From 4 year ago…

You do get HGV drivers who also assume because they in a 44 tonne truck nothing will hurt them. But as a chap I used to work with said “They soon fall apart in a crash”, & from what I’ve seen since they do!.Indeed.
Saw the very same one night/early morn just before last Christmas, that cold spell when there was no tarmac between Carlisle & Warrington, just ice.
Artic whizzes past me (I’m tip-toeing at 40mph - in an empty 18t) past Penrith. I stop to refuel at J38. Said vee-hickle whizzes past again within 5 minutes of me rejoining the ice-rink (presume he’d stopped off at Tebay). 10 mile down the road and I see he’s rammed another artic up the jacksy.
Robert Burns? Heard he was crushed in his cab.
