To sum up my experience with Longs, if they were the last company on this earth id rather walk on broken glass then go to them shower of ■■■■■.
My last week i had come back after a foot operation told not to put pressure on my foot, thursday i was sent out with about 8 drops. All of them tail lift delivery all of them over a tonne a piece. Told them if they put me on pallex again i wont be in friday where was threatened that if i didnt rock up id not get paid for the week. Last day was given 4 drops on a puddle jumper and that was my lot.
With Prestons of Potto out of knottingley on the artics now, much better way of life and the jobs a piece of ■■■■ 
As for the steel side of things…couldn’t tell you, as long as I’m here i shallnt ever pull a flat unless its empty and off for service. Prefer the general haulage side, works steady away and never rushed.
