Relocated looking for new work:)

Will it to travel if nighting out all week. If it’s a solid 550 to 600 min clearing. The more I look into other work the more I realise it’s not the comute monday/Friday but the circumstances in my current job. Trying to put your trousers on in your bed because you can’t ■■■■■■■ stand up is ending me. And then there is the whole pepet reg spec of the wagons. No decent inverters etc…

used to put my trousers on all the time in my old FL10

Why don’t you you ask to swap to a space cab because you’re not comfortable?

The Volvo FL 10 was nicknamed the Wendy house but they used to pull well.
Low cab was ok if you were Ronnie Corbett.

Then some poor sod will get lumbered with his cab.

I don’t mind being a poor sod driving a 63reg BWOC DAF CF:)

Nobody else will have it. Because it needs a tramper because of the trailer. It’s all good fun for the first few months. I had a spacey CF before I went tramping. Needs to be low to fit in Theale loading racks. I have tried everything with them. Basically I either tramp in this low cab or go back to days with significantly less hours and no night out money. Hence why i am looking elsewhere. I like the job. But don’t like nighting out all week in something I can’t ■■■■■■■ live comfortably in. I’m a reasonably small guy as well.

Wow this has turned from me moving to me moaning. Haha sorry. I know I shouldn’t moan. I’m lucky I guess. But the fact general haulage can pay more than what I’m on doing what I’m doing in a low cab make me feel bitter. And realise that’s it’s not the commute. Nor the actual job (it’s easy as pie) but the way they do it as what they expect. It’s alright for them office mongs. “It’s just a cab” It’s more of a home to me than my actual home. And I really don’t think it’s too much to ask for a cab I can stand in. And get some day guy to load from Theale. Rant over. Thanks
