As much as I dislike spammers and particularly agency spammers, I can’t help feeling a bit sorry for him, he’s not the first person to jump on a keyboard and behave like an idiot on the Internet, and he won’t be the last.

If he’d just left when it was obvious that he’d been recognised as just another spammer he’d have been OK, keeping up the pretence of seeking information made him look daft, deliberately trying to get a competitor bad publicity on a driver forum was very daft, and registering with another user-name and being abusive was just plain stupid

I wonder how many drivers would want to work for someone like him, I know I wouldn’t.

I hope he learns from it and moves forward, though if his last few posts are anything to go by it doesn’t seem very likely that will happen

I work in port of tyne and have heard lots of negative stories about riverdrive and I know drivers who have worked for them,i don’t know where he got his £12. 00 hr from must be for bank holiday as up here he quotes £8 hr.

I don’t buy that at all, am i right in saying that you said that you have made the directors of River Drive aware of his actions on here?? If so I think that was a forced apology from the powers above him. And also I think JJ1993 that fella with “lorry drivers are stupid” thread is him as well. Just a stupid kid that got beat and doesn’t like it.

You’re going soft. “I didn’t realise I couldn’t advertise on here”. Yeah right, because advertising is of course free on all other commercial websites isn’t it?! Obvious poor excuse is obvious.

Not only are their rates on the crappy side but they are also run by muppets who treat and talk to their drivers like they’re stupid. Who would want to work for an agency like that? Although truth be known that sums 99.9% of all other agencies anyway.

As for wanting the best drivers well good luck with that one. The best drivers have already found who had the best work and best money on offer and you have precisely zero chance of poaching them. You will be stuck with all the dog end drivers that will cost you £3k per week on your driver neg; that is of course if they bother turning up for the assignment at all…

I want to know what you agency drivers want?

Full Time work or just weekends?

Pay/rate?

Shifts?

Contracts?

Bonus Schemes?
