All the detail to each of W & J Riding’s tankers was hand painted and a credit to the dedicated craftsman the likes of which we rarely see in this day and age.
Today it’s just a simple case of applying vinyl transfers.

Half five in the morning - Cooksons bakery at Lytham (now a housing estate). The first vinyl stickered Allied Mills tank - mid-eighties:
