hi everyone ,i worked for Ralph Davies as a subby and as a driver on and off for a few years and firstly i can say without a shadow of a doubt that the picture posted is deffinately NOT Ralph, and another thing if you walked into his office and called him ralphy to his face you’d deffinatley be being carried out cause he hates it, in all the years i worked for him he would never use your nickname to communicate with you always your christian name and thats what he expected in return, a real gent is Ralph till you upset him!!!
Hi I used to know Ralph when he was driving himself, as you say Maggott as nice bloke until… I was pulling a black fridge at the time and innocently asked him if he had had any problems with his.He thought I was taking the p*** I was lucky to escape with my life 
He calmed down and years later offered me some subby work but I never followed it up.
