i agree 100% with the op, it really ā– ā– ā– ā– ā– ā–  me off, i stop reading posts if theres lots.

It drives me mad on Scrapbook Memories especially, Bubbs posts a whole load of pics and someone quotes the lot and says something like ā€˜good picsā€™ itā€™s a total PITA if youā€™re on the road and the wifi ainā€™t that good and as one or two of us are lorry drivers thereā€™s a good chance we may be, but the main culprits are, from what I can gather, older chaps, theyā€™re not really computer savvy, so the fact that they can manage to post at all is an achievement and itā€™s good to hear and see what they have to say, so I suppose itā€™s something weā€™ll just have to put up with :wink:

Maybe it would be a good idea to put up a sticky on each forum explaining how to do stuff like quoting, highlighting etc, not everyone has good computer skills, or would know how to work it out from the rules and regulations, an ā€˜idiotā€™s guideā€™ type tutorial would do the trick :bulb:

Thatā€™s a great idea mate, but we first need a sticky to explain what stickies are and that itā€™s a good idea to read them.

The Preview button allows you to check whether you have got it right before you post.

Could the quote button be removed from posts already containing a quote? :bulb: That way only 1 post can be quoted. I donā€™t quote if the post is more than about ten lines, as I think thatā€™s stupid :wink:

Why do people quote other peoples posts without adding anything themselves, Iā€™ve seen a few posts like that and I just donā€™t see the point :confused:
