Hi all my normal working week starts sun 4pm do I have to be finished by fri 4pm?

My colleagues reckon we do cos it will be our sixth day, but I Argue it’s only fifth 24hr period who’s right?

You must start your next weekly rest period no later than 16:00 Saturday, 144 hours from when you resumed after your last weekly rest. Nothing in the regulations about only being able to work on six days

Ask them to point out the bit in the regulations which states you can only use 6 cards. :wink: :stuck_out_tongue:

Most likely a hangover from earlier versions of the regulations.

On a similar theme, we have a driver who insists that you cannot drive for more than ten hours in a twenty four hour period.

Seeing as VOSA have a different interpretaion of the regs than what test cases have and given whats been posted here in the past we can confidently conclude that VOSA allow more than 6 cards in a week. It doesn;t make understanding the regs any easier though and it doesnt make their interpretation right !!
